WCAG 2.1 AA alignment
PAK4L is engineered for document reviewers who rely on assistive technologies. This statement describes our current conformance level (WCAG 2.1 AA), testing workflows, and how to request reasonable accommodations.
Keyboard & focus management
- Logical tab order across upload, options, analytics, and modals
- Visible focus indicators that meet WCAG contrast ratios
- “Skip to main content” control available on every page
Screen reader support
- ARIA labels on live progress, agent statuses, and cookie dialogs
- Landmarks for navigation, main content, and complementary areas
- Text equivalents for trust badges, charts, and hero metrics
Color & contrast
- Primary palette tested for WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios
- High-contrast states for disabled buttons and alerts
- Optional monochrome mode in experimental labs (beta)
Testing approach
We run automated checks (axe-core, Lighthouse) on every main release and perform quarterly manual audits with NVDA + Chromium, VoiceOver + Safari, and TalkBack + Chrome. Each regression becomes a severity-tagged ticket with service-level objectives (SLO):
- Critical blocking issues → fix within 5 business days
- Major usability concerns → fix within 15 business days
- Minor or cosmetic improvements → fix within the next quarterly sprint
How to report an issue
Email info@pak4l.ai with:
- Page or feature where the barrier occurred
- Assistive tech/browser combination (e.g., NVDA + Firefox)
- Steps to reproduce and expected behavior
Average response time: < 48 hours · Remediation SLA: 15 business days.
Roadmap
- Extend keyboard shortcuts to Gamma export wizard
- Provide downloadable accessibility conformance report (ACR)
- Add optional reduced-motion animations in hero and cards
